No Apparent Subject

....
..................
I'M SORRY!!!!!!!!

I've been busy with school, senior concert band (playing a Baritone BC), jr concert band (learning the Trombone  : D), jazz band (also playing the Trombone), staying active and playing Skyrim.

See, I've been extremely busy.

I've only managed to finish Between Shades of Gray (I am not satisfied with the ending!), read Eon and half of the Hobbit.
That's just my personal reading.

Within school, in French Language Arts I'm reading À l'est d'Éden (East of Eden) by John Steinbeck.  We just started part II.  This book is very rich in characters.  Just a warning: the first chapter might put you to sleep if you aren't one for details, but continue reading!  It picks up the pace, especially when you meet the Trask family.

Also, I just started a book in English Language Arts.  It's called The Stone Carvers by Jane Urquhart.  I've barely started it...  Seems interesting.  A turn of the century and WW1 novel.  It's about the war memorial at Vimy, France.

I have my hands full...
I doubt that I'll be able to post often...
I'll aim for one post a week, but I really don't know...
Karate hasn't even started up yet (I teach and am taught).

I hope this makes up for a month of no posts!
Just so you all know (for those of you who care), I am turning 17 this Wednesday!
Gee... I'm gonna be at university next year...
...
Well, I need to go now.
Again, I hope that this sort of made up for my lack of attention to this blog.
Bye!

I'm sorry that I've neglected you, my precious

So I finally bought the Lord of the Rings...

Including the Hobbit it was 50$.
That's a pretty good deal.
So far, I've spent about 150$ on books this summer.
Have I read any of them yet?
Nope (excluding the manga).

I'm still halfway through Between Shades of Gray...

I need to read more... (excluding manga)

PRESENTATIONS ARE TOMORROW!!!!!!!
My Research project has come to a close and I am show casing it tomorrow and Wednesday.

That's why I haven't been reading.

I've been too busy.

Nothing... just, nothing...

I was going to try and post every day, but i have no idea what to say.
Because of a research project (and having fun...), I haven't had a chance to read anything!
I had to upload my poster to a website, I bought some university swag, email it compressed, I went out for a coffee that turned out to be a hamburger supper (it was delicious!), writing and handing in a report, we watched movies (silence of the lambs and the lorax) and played sober socialbles. ...
It was a lot of work!
Today, I wish that i could say that i'll be finishing my book that I started in July, but no.
We're gonna have so much fun
Unfortunately, we're going to eat cake and play laser tag to celebrate a fellow researcher's birthday and we're going to have a fancy dinner to celebrate the end of the summer program.
...
Who am I kidding?  IT IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll read later today... or tomorrow... or next week when the program is done...
One day, I will  One day soon, I will read again.

Just because I feel like it, I'm going to share with you another Jon Cozart song:
Lord of the Rings in 99 Seconds!!!!!

Birthday Special

I have a very important message for everyone...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's very important, you must take this message seriously.
I know this blog is supposed to be about books, but this person is the person who has gotten me into many books, and it her birthday!
Unfortunately due to work, I cannot say "happy birthday" to her in person.
To make up for that, I am saying it in every other means available to me.

(Please don't kill me AI!)

I've already texted her, made post on facebook and both my blogs and I've been trying to call her...
I wonder why she doesn't pick up?
(as you can tell, I am a very annoying persistent friend)

For your own personal information, here are the books she got me into:

Anyway, I wish you the best birthday ever!!!!!!!

Book Rant

I forgot to mention, I also read Divergent by Veronica Roth.
I just thought that I should clear that up.
I really loved it, I'm really excited to read the next book! (# 6 on my to do reading list)

Unfortunately, my friend says that it isn't as good.
Sounds like the Hunger Games: amazing first book, then starts to lag - apparently!  I haven't had a chance to read Catching Fire yet, I've just heard things...
No, I haven't seen the movie yet.

I want to, but one does not simply go to the theatres alone. (Please refer to the Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring.  I have only seen the movie and I plan to read the books!  I've read the Hobbit though... seven years ago...)

If you haven't noticed, I tend to procrastinate.
"It's on my to do reading list"!
It's been there for a long time!!!!!!
I guess that I prioritize school and work.
That's a good thing, right?
In the real world, yes, for this blog... NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
To motivate myself, Tomorrow I'll post all the book that I have on my "To do reading list"!
Feel free to be amazed its length!

Debut

Hello there.
I'm sure at least someone recognizes me from my other blog (Tomorrow's Memories).
If not, that's fine, now you know me.  Not only do I like music (as per my other blog), but I love to read.  I read many different books: sci-fi, historical fiction, fantasy, etc... So I decided to start a blog.
I don't even know where to start, but I'll figure it out eventually.
I know, I'll start with a list of books that i have read recently (due to work I haven't read many):
  • Between Shades of Gray (not 50 shades of gray!!!!) by Ruta Sepetys
  • The Mortal Intruments by Cassandra Clare
  • The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
  • The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz by Mordecai Richler
  • Macbeth by William Shakespeare
  • True Grit by Charles Ports
Thats it.
I know right, not much.
Those are the books I have read in the past few months.

Just so you all know, I am not including manga.  If I did, the list would be a lot longer.  Later I might include manga.

Here's something for your enjoyment.  This year I read Harry Potter for the first time (I know, sad right?  I don't know why I didn't read it sooner, its awesome!!!).  This video is by Jon Cozart (my Hero!!!):

I hope that you like my new blog.
I know there isn't much yet, but I hope to make it something that people would like to read.

Bye~!
